The most popular resort in Slovenia, Bled is marked by its iconic church steeple and medieval castle on glacial Lake Bled.

Moscow, Russia to Bled is an approximately 6.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a train. The time zone changes from Moscow Standard Time (MSK) to Central European Standard Time (CET), which is usually a -2 hour difference. Expect somewhat warmer weather when traveling from Moscow in June: highs in Bled hover around 29°C, while lows dip to 14°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 1st (Thu) to allow time to drive to Ljubljana.

Drive from Bled to Ljubljana in an hour. Alternatively, you can take a bus; or take a train. In July, daytime highs in Ljubljana are 32°C, while nighttime lows are 17°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 4th (Sun) early enough to go by car to Koper.

Koper — 2 nights

A bridge between the Mediterranean and alpine regions of Slovenia, Koper is a small town with big appeal.
On the 4th (Sun), admire the landmark architecture of Taverna Koper. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 5th (Mon): take in the architecture and atmosphere at Hrastovlje Church of the Holy Trinity, learn about winemaking at Vinakoper, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Koper Cathedral and Bell Tower, then admire the local landmark of Da Ponte Fountain, and finally steep yourself in history at Muda Gate.

Getting from Ljubljana to Koper by car takes about 1.5 hours. Other options: take a train; or take a bus. Traveling from Ljubljana in July, expect a bit warmer with lows of 20°C in Koper. Finish your sightseeing early on the 6th (Tue) to allow enough time to take a shuttle to Piran.

Considered one of the prettiest cities on the country's coast, Piran owes much of its development to salt.
