Traveling by car from Ljubljana to Piran takes 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus; or do a combination of train and bus. Traveling from Ljubljana in June, plan for somewhat warmer nights in Piran, with lows around 18°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 1st (Thu) to allow enough time to drive to Kobarid.
