Explore Piran's surroundings by going to Boris Lisjak Winery (in Dutovlje), Škocjan Caves (in Škocjan) and Vinakras Sežana (in Sežana). There's lots more to do: make a trip to Tartini Square, relax in the rural setting at Fonda Fish Farm, take in the spiritual surroundings of St. George's Church, and admire the landmark architecture of Sodna palaca.

Getting from Bovec to Piran by car takes about 2.5 hours. Other options: take a bus; or take a bus.
