Considered one of the prettiest cities on the country's coast, Piran owes much of its development to salt.
Change things up with these side-trips from Piran: Vino Zorz (in Slap), Postojna (Predjama Castle & Guštarna) and Sežana Botanical Garden (in Sežana). Kobarid
