While traveling from Brussels, expect a bit warmer days and about the same nights in Ljubljana, ranging from highs of 31°C to lows of 15°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 7th (Mon) to allow time to drive to Piran.

Considered one of the prettiest cities on the country's coast, Piran owes much of its development to salt.
Kids will appreciate attractions like Tartini Square and Portorož Beach. Take a break from the city and head to Koper City Beach and Debeli Rtič Landscape Park. The adventure continues: examine the collection at Magical World of Shells Museum, experience rural life at Fonda Fish Farm, pause for some serene contemplation at Koper Cathedral and Bell Tower, and don't miss a visit to Walls of Piran.

Drive from Ljubljana to Piran in 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus; or do a combination of train and bus. Traveling from Ljubljana in August, Piran is a bit warmer at night with lows of 20°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 10th (Thu) so you can drive to Bohinjsko Jezero.

Bohinjsko Jezero — 1 night
