Maribor

Cycling may be one of the best ways to tour Maribor, a great base for exploring the surrounding area and conquering Pohorje Mountains.
You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Pyramid Archaeological Site and Maribor Cathedral. You'll explore and learn at Maribor Regional Museum and The House of Minerals. Explore Maribor's surroundings by going to Pragersko Railway Station (in Pragersko), Gornji Grad Cathedral (in Gornji Grad) and Velenje (The Coal Mining Museum of Slovenia & Tito Statue). There's lots more to do: do a tasting at Vinogradi Horvat - Vineyards Horvat, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Plague Column, examine the collection at Military Museum of Slovenian Armed Forces, and walk around Three Ponds.

Plan my Maribor trip by asking Inpirock to come up with tips and suggestions.
