The most popular resort in Slovenia, Bled is marked by its iconic church steeple and medieval castle on glacial Lake Bled.
Bring the kids along to Bled Castle and Bled Island. Explore Bled's surroundings by going to Logar Valley Landscape Park (in Solčava), Mojstrana (Mount Triglav & Peričnik Falls) and Bohinjsko Jezero (Lake Bohinj, Savica Waterfall, &more). There's still lots to do: take in the dramatic natural features at Vintgar Gorge, get great views at Mala Osojnica, get outside with Outdoor Activities, and see the sights as you ascend with Kofler Sport.

Dublin, Ireland to Bled is an approximately 8-hour flight. You can also do a combination of ferry and car; or do a combination of bus and train. Traveling from Dublin to Bled, you'll lose 1 hour due to the time zone difference. A bridge between the Mediterranean and alpine regions of Slovenia, Koper is a small town with big appeal.
