2 days in Kranj Itinerary

The capital of Slovenia's Alps, Kranj allows you to stand with one foot in the nature and another in a town that's both a cultural center and a base for outdoor activities.

Kick off your visit on the 22nd (Fri): take in the views from Capuchin Bridge, then browse the exhibits of Škofja Loka Castle, then step into the grandiose world of Brdo Castle, and finally contemplate the long history of Old Town Centre of Radovljica. Keep things going the next day: admire the local landmark of Plečnik's Arcade & Fountain, examine the collection at Prešeren House, take in panoramic vistas at Pungert, then take in the architecture and atmosphere at St. Kancijan Church, and finally explore the world behind art at Town Hall.
