2 days in Ljubljana & Piran Itinerary

Sitting astride the Ljubljanica River, Ljubljana is marked with picturesque bridges and a marketplace, designed by the famous architect Jože Plečnik.

Start off your visit on the 4th (Tue): take in the views from Dragon Bridge, take a stroll through Ljubljana Old Town, then snap pictures at Triple Bridge, then get a sense of history and politics at Town Hall, and finally don't miss a visit to Ljubljana Castle.

Amsterdam, The Netherlands to Ljubljana is an approximately 5-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a train. Expect somewhat warmer weather when traveling from Amsterdam in April: highs in Ljubljana hover around 19°C, while lows dip to 5°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 5th (Wed) early enough to go by car to Piran.
