2 days in Škofja Loka Itinerary

Skofja Loka works great as a starting point for explorations into the Julian Alps, very near the country's capital Ljubljana.

Start off your visit on the 13th (Sat): admire the local landmark of Plečnik's Arcade & Fountain, hit the slopes at Krvavec, make a trip to Tunnels Under Old Kranj, take in the architecture and atmosphere at St. Kancijan Church, then step into the grandiose world of Škofja Loka Castle, and finally snap pictures at Capuchin Bridge. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: admire the landmark architecture of St. Jacob Church, admire the striking features of Homan House, appreciate the history behind Marian and Holy Trinity Columns, then take in the views from The Devil's Bridge, then fly down the slopes at Ski Centre Cerkno, and finally take a stroll around Layer House.
