Brussels, Belgium to Ljubljana is an approximately 5-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a train. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Pyramid Archaeological Site and Spas. Explore Maribor's surroundings by going to Ptuj Castle (in Ptuj), Laško Municipality - Lilie Family Castle (in Laško) and Janina (in Rogaška Slatina). Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Tartini Square and St. George's Church. Step out of Piran to go to Lipica and see Lipica Stud Farm, which is approximately 50 minutes away.
