Bring the kids along to Lake Bohinj and Vogel. Kids will enjoy Tartini Square and Strunjan Nature Reserve. Step out of Piran to go to Škocjan and see Škocjan Caves, which is approximately 44 minutes away. Drive from Bohinjsko Jezero to Piran in 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus. Traveling from Bohinjsko Jezero in July, things will get a bit warmer in Piran: highs are around 35°C and lows about 21°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 1st (Mon) early enough to drive to Ljubljana.
