Sitting astride the Ljubljanica River, Ljubljana is marked with picturesque bridges and a marketplace, designed by the famous architect Jože Plečnik.
You'll visit kid-friendly attractions like Ljubljana Old Town and Ljubljanica River. Venture out of the city with trips to Logar Valley Landscape Park (in Solčava), Velika Planina (in Stahovica) and Postojna (Tourist Information Centre - Galerija, Postojna Cave, &more). There's much more to do: make a trip to Ljubljana Castle, find your balance on the water with some of the best stand-up paddleboarding in the area, pause for some serene contemplation at Sts. Cyril and Methodius Orthodox Church, and take in the spiritual surroundings of Cathedral of St. Nicholas.

Considered one of the prettiest cities on the country's coast, Piran owes much of its development to salt.
Kids will enjoy Tartini Square and Scuba & Snorkeling. Explore Piran's surroundings by going to Škocjan Caves (in Škocjan) and Lipica Stud Farm (in Lipica). Next up on the itinerary: kick back and relax at Strunjan Nature Reserve, relax in the rural setting at Fonda Fish Farm, take in the spiritual surroundings of St. George's Church, and make a trip to Walls of Piran.
