Popular historic sites such as Outdoor Museum Kolovrat (muzej na prostem) and Ukanc Military Cemetery are in your itinerary. Drive from Kobarid to Koper in 2 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus. Traveling from Kobarid in May, expect Koper to be a bit warmer, temps between 26°C and 13°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 30th (Thu) to allow time to drive to Maribor.

Sitting astride the Ljubljanica River, Ljubljana is marked with picturesque bridges and a marketplace, designed by the famous architect Jože Plečnik.
Start off your visit on the 4th (Tue): scramble along the landscape with a canyoning and rapelling tour, then take in the architecture and atmosphere at Sts. Cyril and Methodius Orthodox Church, then find your balance on the water with some of the best stand-up paddleboarding in the area, and finally contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Cathedral of St. Nicholas.
