Sitting astride the Ljubljanica River, Ljubljana is marked with picturesque bridges and a marketplace, designed by the famous architect Jože Plečnik.
Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Ljubljanica River and Parasailing & Paragliding. Step out of the city life by going to Zipline and Mala Osojnica. Venture out of the city with trips to Straža Bled (in Bled), Church of St. George (in Zgornje Gorje) and Old Town Centre of Radovljica (in Radovljica). Considered one of the prettiest cities on the country's coast, Piran owes much of its development to salt.
Your cultural itinerary includes sights like St. George's Church and Chiesa di San Rocco/ Cerkev sv. Roka. We've included these beaches for you: Portorož Beach and Strunjan Nature Reserve. There's still lots to do: don't miss a visit to Tartini Square, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Krstilnica sv.Janeza Krstnika, discover the deep blue sea with a scuba or snorkeling tour, and examine the collection at Sergej Mašera Maritime Museum.

The mirror-like waters of the largest glacial lake in Slovenia make Bohinjsko Jezero one of the most popular tourist attractions in the country.
Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Lake Bohinj and Parasailing & Paragliding. Museum of Alpine Dairy Farming and Oplen House Museum are good opportunities to explore the local culture. When in Bohinjsko Jezero, make a side trip to see Nadiza in Kranjska Gora, approximately Kranjska Gora away. You can drive from Piran to Bohinjsko Jezero in 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus. Traveling from Piran in July, expect Bohinjsko Jezero to be slightly colder, temps between 29°C and 15°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 24th (Sun) early enough to drive to Postojna.
