The most popular resort in Slovenia, Bled is marked by its iconic church steeple and medieval castle on glacial Lake Bled.

Considered one of the prettiest cities on the country's coast, Piran owes much of its development to salt.
Explore Piran's surroundings by going to Postojna (Grotte di Postumia - Park Postojnska jama & Postojna Cave), Škocjan Caves (in Škocjan) and Lipica Stud Farm (in Lipica). There's still lots to do: don't miss a visit to Tartini Square, pause for some serene contemplation at Koper Cathedral and Bell Tower, see the interesting displays at Pivka Park of Military History, and admire the striking features of Praetorian Palace.
