Sitting astride the Ljubljanica River, Ljubljana is marked with picturesque bridges and a marketplace, designed by the famous architect Jože Plečnik.
Get some cultural insight at Ljubljana Old Town and Franciscan Church of the Annunciation. Step out of the city life by going to Postojna Cave and Ljubljanica River. Step out of Ljubljana to go to Postojna and see Predjama Castle, which is approximately 1 hour away. Dedicate the 11th (Fri) to wine at some of the top wineries in the area. There's much more to do: take in the views from Triple Bridge, find your balance on the water with some of the best stand-up paddleboarding in the area, stroll around Tivoli Park, and test your team's savvy at popular escape rooms.

Brussels, Belgium to Ljubljana is an approximately 5-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a train. Traveling from Brussels in August, expect nights in Ljubljana to be about the same, around 15°C, while days are a bit warmer, around 31°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 18th (Fri) to allow enough time to drive to Portorož.

A resort town on the country's scenic Adriatic coastline, Portoroz offers many spas with all kinds of therapeutic treatments, many based on the brine and mud from the area's salt pans.
On the 19th (Sat), take in the architecture and atmosphere at Koper Cathedral and Bell Tower and then stroll through Portorož Beach. On the 20th (Sun), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: admire the landmark architecture of Praetorian Palace, don't miss a visit to Walls of Piran, view the masterpieces at Tartini's House, then make a trip to Tartini Square, and finally explore the activities along Dragonja.
