Piran

Considered one of the prettiest cities on the country's coast, Piran owes much of its development to salt.
Escape the urban bustle at Strunjan Nature Reserve and Šalet Tunnel. Popular historic sites such as Koper Cathedral and Bell Tower and Church of St. Maurus are in your itinerary. Change things up with a short trip to Hrastovlje Church of the Holy Trinity in Hrastovlje (about 40 minutes away). And it doesn't end there: contemplate the long history of Muda Gate, get outside with Outdoor Activities, look for all kinds of wild species at Škocjanski Zatok Nature Reserve, and take a leisurely stroll along Port Piran.
