Traveling from Ljubljana in April, you will find days in Kobarid are slightly colder (16°C), and nights are about the same (4°C). Finish up your sightseeing early on the 21st (Sun) so you can go by car to Kranjska Gora.

A trip to Kranjska Gora takes visitors to an area that represents a border point between Austria, Italy, and Slovenia.
Your day by day itinerary now includes Tourist Information Centre Kranjska Gora as well as Lake Bled. Escape the urban bustle at Peričnik Falls and Vršič Pass. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Lake Jasna and Zelenci Nature Reserve. Step out of Kranjska Gora with an excursion to Mount Blegoš in Škofja Loka--about 58 minutes away. You can drive from Kobarid to Kranjska Gora in 1.5 hours. Another option is to take a bus. In April, plan for daily highs up to 16°C, and evening lows to 4°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 27th (Sat) early enough to go by car to Bohinjsko Jezero.

Bohinjsko Jezero — 5 nights

The mirror-like waters of the largest glacial lake in Slovenia make Bohinjsko Jezero one of the most popular tourist attractions in the country.
Visiting Triglav National Park and Lake Bohinj will get you outdoors. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Savica Waterfall and Vogel. Take a break from Bohinjsko Jezero with a short trip to Franja Partisan Hospital in Cerkno, about 1h 15 min away. Next up on the itinerary: take some stellar pictures from Prsivec, pause for some serene contemplation at Church of St John the Baptist, stroll the grounds of Ukanc Military Cemetery, and see the interesting displays at Museum of Alpine Dairy Farming.
