Considered one of the prettiest cities on the country's coast, Piran owes much of its development to salt.
Get in touch with nature at Škocjan Caves and Scuba & Snorkeling. Change things up with these side-trips from Piran: Postojna (Guštarna, Postojna Cave, &more), Military Museum Tabor (in Lokev) and Rakov Škocjan Landscape Park (in Rakek). Take a break from the city and head to Zipline and Tolmin Gorge. The most popular resort in Slovenia, Bled is marked by its iconic church steeple and medieval castle on glacial Lake Bled.
Escape the urban bustle at Zipline and Vintgar Gorge.
