Step out of the city life by going to Lake Bohinj and Slap Grmecica. Explore hidden gems such as Savica Waterfall and Spodnja Sorica Church of St. Nicholas. When in Bohinjsko Jezero, make a side trip to see Natural Bathing Place Lajšt in Spodnja Idrija, approximately Spodnja Idrija away. Sitting astride the Ljubljanica River, Ljubljana is marked with picturesque bridges and a marketplace, designed by the famous architect Jože Plečnik.
Deepen your sense of the past at sights like Škofja Loka Castle and Celje Castle. Escape the urban bustle at Nature & Wildlife Tours and Parasailing & Paragliding. Bovec

In the north-west part of Slovenia, Bovec sits in an area known for its rich and colorful culture and history.
Get some historical perspective at Outdoor Museum Kolovrat (muzej na prostem) and Log Pod Mangartom Military Cemetery. Visiting Zipline and Kayaking & Canoeing will get you outdoors. Change things up with these side-trips from Bovec: Vršič Pass (in Kranjska Gora) and Tolmin (Tolmin Gorge & Kozlov Rob). Expect a bit warmer temperatures when traveling from Bovec in July; daily highs in Piran reach 35°C and lows reach 21°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 13th (Mon) to allow enough time to take a shuttle to Koper.

A bridge between the Mediterranean and alpine regions of Slovenia, Koper is a small town with big appeal.
Deepen your sense of the past at sights like Koper Cathedral and Bell Tower and Socerb Castle. Visiting Škocjan Caves and Zusterna Beach will get you outdoors. Go for a jaunt from Koper to Lipica to see Golf Klub Lipica about 30 minutes away. There's lots more to do: kick back and relax at Svetilnik Beach, immerse yourself in nature at Debeli Rtič Landscape Park, admire the striking features of Praetorian Palace, and stroll through Koper City Beach.

Koper is very close to Piran. Expect a daytime high around 35°C in July, and nighttime lows around 20°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 18th (Sat) early enough to travel back home.
