Near the Italian border, Dobrovo remains a small settlement in a region known for its hilly orchards, vineyards, and olive groves.Dobrovo is known for wineries, museums, and outdoors. Your trip includes some of its best attractions: learn about winemaking at Bjana, don't miss a visit to Gonjače Viewing Tower, get engrossed in the history at Vipolže Villa, and walk around Sabotin - Peace Park.

Ljubljana to Dobrovo is an approximately 1.5-hour car ride. You can also take a bus; or do a combination of train and bus.
