Novo Mesto is the city on a bend of the Krka River in the City Municipality of Novo Mesto in southeastern Slovenia, close to the border with Croatia. Venture out of the city with trips to Božidar Jakac Art Museum (in Kostanjevica na Krki), Thermal Park Aquluna (in Podčetrtek) and Brežice Castle (in Brežice).
