Take a break from the city and head to Škocjan Caves and Lipica Stud Farm. Piran

Considered one of the prettiest cities on the country's coast, Piran owes much of its development to salt.

Drive from Postojna to Piran in an hour. Alternatively, you can take a bus; or do a combination of train and bus. Traveling from Postojna in May, plan for a bit warmer nights in Piran, with lows around 13°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 8th (Tue) early enough to drive to Bovec.
