Ljubljana to Koper is an approximately 1.5-hour car ride. You can also take a train; or take a bus. Prepare for a bit warmer weather when traveling from Ljubljana in February: high temperatures in Koper hover around 13°C and lows are around 3°C. On the 11th (Sat), wrap the sightseeing up by early afternoon so you can drive to Izola.

Izola is just a stone's throw from Koper. In February in Izola, expect temperatures between 13°C during the day and 3°C at night. On the 12th (Sun), you'll have the morning to explore before heading off to Piran.
