The capital of Slovenia's Alps, Kranj allows you to stand with one foot in the nature and another in a town that's both a cultural center and a base for outdoor activities.

Get out of town with these interesting Kranj side-trips: Kobarid (Bridge of Napoleon & Italian Charnel House), Velika Planina (in Stahovica) and Šmartno (in Kojsko).
