4 days in Ljubljana & Bled Itinerary

You'll find plenty of places to visit near Ljubljana: Volčji Potok Arboretum (in Radomlje) and Postojna (Postojna Cave, Predjama Castle, &more). There's still lots to do: visit Ljubljana Old Town, take in the views from Dragon Bridge, explore the historical opulence of Ljubljana Castle, and take a stroll through Metelkova.

Bratislava, Slovakia to Ljubljana is an approximately 4.5-hour car ride. You can also do a combination of bus, flight, and shuttle; or do a combination of bus and shuttle. Expect a daytime high around 19°C in April, and nighttime lows around 5°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 7th (Fri) so you can go by car to Bled.

On the 8th (Sat), explore the striking landscape at Vintgar Gorge, then step off the mainland to explore Bled Island, then step into the grandiose world of Bled Castle, and finally stroll around Spa Park.

Traveling by car from Ljubljana to Bled takes an hour. Alternatively, you can take a bus; or take a train. In April, daytime highs in Bled are 19°C, while nighttime lows are 5°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 8th (Sat) early enough to drive back home.
