Sitting astride the Ljubljanica River, Ljubljana is marked with picturesque bridges and a marketplace, designed by the famous architect Jože Plečnik.
Start off your visit on the 5th (Mon): take in the spiritual surroundings of Cathedral of St. Nicholas, then stop by Trgovina IKA, then step into the grandiose world of Predjama Castle, and finally find your balance on the water with some of the best stand-up paddleboarding in the area. On the 6th (Tue), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: step into the grandiose world of Ljubljana Castle, explore the activities along Ljubljanica River, wander the streets of Ljubljana Old Town, then snap pictures at Triple Bridge, and finally snap pictures at Dragon Bridge.

Valletta, Malta to Ljubljana is an approximately 6.5-hour combination of flight and shuttle. You can also fly; or do a combination of bus and train. Traveling from Valletta in July, expect Ljubljana to be little chillier, temps between 32°C and 17°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 7th (Wed) to allow time to drive to Bled.

The most popular resort in Slovenia, Bled is marked by its iconic church steeple and medieval castle on glacial Lake Bled.
On the 7th (Wed), take in the awesome beauty at Vogel, then explore the activities along Lake Bohinj, and then step off the mainland to explore Bled Island. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 8th (Thu): fly like a bird with a parasailing or paragliding tour, explore the historical opulence of Bled Castle, and then trek along Vintgar Gorge.
