Perugia, Italy to Nova Gorica is an approximately 5.5-hour car ride. You can also do a combination of flight and car. In April, daily temperatures in Nova Gorica can reach 21°C, while at night they dip to 9°C. On the 3rd (Sat), wrap the sightseeing up by early afternoon so you can drive to Ljubljana.

Sitting astride the Ljubljanica River, Ljubljana is marked with picturesque bridges and a marketplace, designed by the famous architect Jože Plečnik.

Kick off your visit on the 3rd (Sat): wander the streets of Ljubljana Old Town. On your second day here, stroll through Vintgar Gorge, step into the grandiose world of Bled Castle, then step off the mainland to explore Bled Island, and finally stroll around Tivoli Park.

Traveling by car from Nova Gorica to Ljubljana takes 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus; or take a train. Traveling from Nova Gorica in April, Ljubljana is slightly colder at night with lows of 5°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 5th (Mon) to allow enough time to drive back home.
