Sitting astride the Ljubljanica River, Ljubljana is marked with picturesque bridges and a marketplace, designed by the famous architect Jože Plečnik.Attractions like Triglav National Park and Ljubljana Castle make great kid-friendly stops. Get out of town with these interesting Ljubljana side-trips: Postojna (Guštarna & Postojna Cave) and Bled (Ojstrica, Bled Island, &more). There's lots more to do: take a stroll through Ljubljana Old Town, get a sense of history and politics at Town Hall, try out the rides at Escape Room Enigmarium, and contemplate the waterfront views at Ljubljanica River.
