Ljubljana to Šentrupert is an approximately 1-hour car ride. Expect a daytime high around 19°C in October, and nighttime lows around 8°C. You will leave for Novo Mesto on the 3rd (Sat).

Novo Mesto is the city on a bend of the Krka River in the City Municipality of Novo Mesto in southeastern Slovenia, close to the border with Croatia. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Novo Mesto: Snežnik Castle (in Stari Trg pri Lozu), Rakov Škocjan Landscape Park (in Rakek) and Cross Cave (in Grahovo).
