Sitting astride the Ljubljanica River, Ljubljana is marked with picturesque bridges and a marketplace, designed by the famous architect Jože Plečnik.
Start off your visit on the 13th (Sat): step into the grandiose world of Predjama Castle, then Head underground at Postojna Cave, and then walk around Tivoli Park. Keep things going the next day: wander the streets of Ljubljana Old Town, take in the views from Triple Bridge, get a sense of history and politics at Town Hall, then explore the historical opulence of Ljubljana Castle, then explore the activities along Ljubljanica River, and finally take in the views from Dragon Bridge.
