You can drive from Maribor to Bled in 2 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus; or take a train. August in Bled sees daily highs of 31°C and lows of 15°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 25th (Fri) early enough to drive to Piran.

Considered one of the prettiest cities on the country's coast, Piran owes much of its development to salt.

Drive from Bled to Piran in 2 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus; or do a combination of train and bus. Traveling from Bled in August, you can expect nighttime temperatures to be somewhat warmer in Piran, with lows of 20°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 27th (Sun) early enough to drive to Bovec.
