Bled to Ljubljana is an approximately 1-hour car ride. You can also take a bus; or take a train. In September in Ljubljana, expect temperatures between 68°F during the day and 50°F at night. Cap off your sightseeing on the 2nd (Sat) early enough to go by car to Bled.

The most popular resort in Slovenia, Bled is marked by its iconic church steeple and medieval castle on glacial Lake Bled.

Get in touch with nature at Vintgar Gorge and Soča Valley. You'll visit kid-friendly attractions like Straža Bled and Bled Castle. You can drive from Ljubljana to Bled in an hour. Alternatively, you can take a bus; or take a train. In September, plan for daily highs up to 69°F, and evening lows to 50°F. On the 6th (Wed), wrap the sightseeing up by early afternoon so you can travel back home.
