Novo Mesto is the city on a bend of the Krka River in the City Municipality of Novo Mesto in southeastern Slovenia, close to the border with Croatia. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Novo Mesto: Podčetrtek (Jelenov Greben Homestead, Olimje Monastery, &more), Brežice (Brežice Castle & Terme Čatež) and Hell Cave (in Sempeter v Savinjski Dolini).
