Cycling may be one of the best ways to tour Maribor, a great base for exploring the surrounding area and conquering Pohorje Mountains.
On the 22nd (Fri), take in the dramatic natural features at Pyramid Archaeological Site, see the interesting displays at Old Vine House, and then make a trip to Main Square.

Ljubljana to Maribor is an approximately 1.5-hour shuttle ride. You can also drive; or take a bus. In April in Maribor, expect temperatures between 19°C during the day and 5°C at night. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 22nd (Fri) so you can go by car to Lendava.
