The most popular resort in Slovenia, Bled is marked by its iconic church steeple and medieval castle on glacial Lake Bled.

Copenhagen, Denmark to Bled is an approximately 7-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a train. Traveling from Copenhagen in July, you will find days in Bled are somewhat warmer (32°C), and nights are about the same (17°C). Wrap up your sightseeing on the 14th (Fri) to allow time to drive to Ljubljana.

Traveling by car from Bled to Ljubljana takes an hour. Alternatively, you can take a bus; or take a train. Expect a daytime high around 32°C in July, and nighttime lows around 17°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 16th (Sun) so you can go by car to Koper.

A bridge between the Mediterranean and alpine regions of Slovenia, Koper is a small town with big appeal.

Visit Zusterna Beach and Portorož Beach for some beach relaxation. Change things up with a short trip to Lipica Stud Farm in Lipica (about 34 minutes away). And it doesn't end there: Head underground at Škocjan Caves, make a trip to Walls of Piran, take in the spiritual surroundings of St. George's Church, and pause for some serene contemplation at Koper Cathedral and Bell Tower.

You can drive from Ljubljana to Koper in 1.5 hours. Other options are to take a train; or take a bus. Traveling from Ljubljana in July, you can expect nighttime temperatures to be somewhat warmer in Koper, with lows of 20°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 19th (Wed) early enough to drive back home.
