Considered one of the prettiest cities on the country's coast, Piran owes much of its development to salt.
Kick off your visit on the 4th (Wed): discover the deep blue sea with a scuba or snorkeling tour, then have fun and explore at Magical World of Shells Museum, then take in the spiritual surroundings of St. George's Church, and finally don't miss a visit to Tartini Square.

The most popular resort in Slovenia, Bled is marked by its iconic church steeple and medieval castle on glacial Lake Bled.
Step off the beaten path and head to Parasailing & Paragliding and Lake Jasna. Explore Bled's surroundings by going to Soča Valley (in Bovec), Bohinjsko Jezero (Vogel & Lake Bohinj) and Mostnica Gorge (in Stara Fužina). There's still lots to do: whizz through the canopy at some of the top local zipline courses and adventure parks, get great views at Mala Osojnica, take in the architecture and atmosphere at St. Martin's Parish Church, and make a trip to Tolmin Castle on Kozlov Rob.
