Sitting astride the Ljubljanica River, Ljubljana is marked with picturesque bridges and a marketplace, designed by the famous architect Jože Plečnik.
Venture out of the city with trips to Predjama Castle (in Postojna) and Bled (Mala Osojnica, Bled Island, &more). Spend the 17th (Thu) wandering through the wild on a nature and wildlife tour. There's lots more to do: step into the grandiose world of Ljubljana Castle, snap pictures at Triple Bridge, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Cathedral of St. Nicholas, and contemplate the waterfront views at Ljubljanica River.

Vilnius, Lithuania to Ljubljana is an approximately 7.5-hour combination of flight and shuttle. You can also fly; or drive. The time zone changes from Eastern European Standard Time (EET) to Central European Standard Time (CET), which is usually a -1 hour difference. Considered one of the prettiest cities on the country's coast, Piran owes much of its development to salt.
Start off your visit on the 22nd (Tue): take in the waterfront at Port Piran, then see the interesting displays at Magical World of Shells Museum, and then make a trip to Tartini Square.

Traveling by car from Ljubljana to Piran takes 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus; or do a combination of train and bus.
