Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Ljubljana: Bled (Bled Island, Ojstrica, &more) and Vintgar Gorge (in Zgornje Gorje). A trip to Kranjska Gora takes visitors to an area that represents a border point between Austria, Italy, and Slovenia.
On the 25th (Sun), whizz through the canopy at some of the top local zipline courses and adventure parks and then add some adventure to your tour with a kayaking and canoeing tour. Here are some ideas for day two: identify plant and animal life at Planica Valley, look for all kinds of wild species at Vršič Pass, then pause for some photo ops at Statue of Kekec, and finally take in the dramatic scenery at Peričnik Falls.
