The most popular resort in Slovenia, Bled is marked by its iconic church steeple and medieval castle on glacial Lake Bled.
Kick off your visit on the 28th (Mon): admire the sheer force of Mostnica Gorge, contemplate the waterfront views at Lake Bohinj, and then get great views at Mala Osojnica. Considered one of the prettiest cities on the country's coast, Piran owes much of its development to salt.
On the 1st (Fri), get a new perspective on nature at Mediadom Pyrhani, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at St. George's Church, take in the spiritual surroundings of Krstilnica sv.Janeza Krstnika, look for all kinds of wild species at Strunjan Nature Reserve, then stroll through Portorož Beach, and finally take in the architecture and atmosphere at Church of St. Bernardine. Here are some ideas for day two: take in the architecture and atmosphere at Koper Cathedral and Bell Tower, then Head underground at Škocjan Caves, then stroll through Svetilnik Beach, and finally make a trip to Tartini Square.
