Considered one of the prettiest cities on the country's coast, Piran owes much of its development to salt.Kick off your visit on the 14th (Fri): make a trip to Tartini Square, take in the spiritual surroundings of St. George's Church, explore the engaging exhibits at Magical World of Shells Museum, then pause for some serene contemplation at Koper Cathedral and Bell Tower, and finally enjoy the sand and surf at Strunjan Nature Reserve.
