A resort town on the country's scenic Adriatic coastline, Portoroz offers many spas with all kinds of therapeutic treatments, many based on the brine and mud from the area's salt pans.
On the 10th (Tue), have fun and explore at Magical World of Shells Museum, tour the pleasant surroundings at Zusterna Beach, pause for some serene contemplation at Parish Church of the Virgin Mary of the Rosary, then kick back and relax at Strunjan Nature Reserve, and finally kick back and relax at Portorož Beach. On the next day, stroll through Svetilnik Beach, Head underground at Škocjan Caves, and then view the masterpieces at Loza Gallery.

You can drive from Bovec to Portorož in 2.5 hours. Other options are to take a bus; or take a bus.
