Start off your visit on the 9th (Wed): pause for some serene contemplation at Koper Cathedral and Bell Tower, admire the striking features of Praetorian Palace, steep yourself in history at Muda Gate, then explore the fascinating underground world of Škocjan Caves, and finally contemplate in the serene atmosphere at The Rotunda of St John the Baptist.

On the 10th (Thu), discover the deep blue sea with a scuba or snorkeling tour, make a trip to Walls of Piran, see the interesting displays at Magical World of Shells Museum, then take in the spiritual surroundings of St. George's Church, and finally make a trip to Tartini Square.

In the north-west part of Slovenia, Bovec sits in an area known for its rich and colorful culture and history.
Escape the urban bustle at Kayaking & Canoeing and Vršič Pass. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Virje Waterfall and Kozjak Waterfall. Get out of town with these interesting Bovec side-trips: Tolmin Gorge (in Tolmin) and The Russian Chapel (in Kranjska Gora).
