The most popular resort in Slovenia, Bled is marked by its iconic church steeple and medieval castle on glacial Lake Bled.
Eschew the tourist crowds and head to The Russian Chapel and Planica Nordic Centre & Zipline. Visiting Mala Osojnica and Zelenci Nature Reserve will get you outdoors. Change things up with these side-trips from Bled: Logar Valley Landscape Park (in Solčava) and Zgornjesavska Valley (in Kranjska Gora). There's much more to do: glide peacefully along the water with some of the best stand-up paddleboarding in the area, take some stellar pictures from Ojstrica, and take in the architecture and atmosphere at St. Martin's Parish Church.

Grahovo — 1 night

Grahovo offers access to the shores of a scenic lake, known as one of Europes biggest intermittent bodies of water.
On the 16th (Mon), get engrossed in the history at Snežnik Castle, then Head underground at Cross Cave, then grab your bike and head to Notranjski Regional Park, and finally explore the activities along Cerknica Lake.

Piran — 2 nights

Considered one of the prettiest cities on the country's coast, Piran owes much of its development to salt.
On the 17th (Tue), see the interesting displays at Sergej Mašera Maritime Museum, then head outdoors with Outdoor Activities, then make a trip to Port Piran, and finally get a new perspective on nature at Magical World of Shells Museum. Here are some ideas for day two: enjoy the sand and surf at Strunjan Nature Reserve, admire the striking features of Praetorian Palace, then enjoy the sand and surf at Svetilnik Beach, and finally see the interesting displays at Izolana - House of the Sea.
