The most popular resort in Slovenia, Bled is marked by its iconic church steeple and medieval castle on glacial Lake Bled.

Milan, Italy to Bled is an approximately 5-hour combination of flight and shuttle. You can also drive; or take a train. Plan for a bit cooler temperatures traveling from Milan in August, with highs in Bled at 31°C and lows at 15°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 9th (Wed) early enough to drive to Kobarid.

Traveling by car from Bled to Kobarid takes 2 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of train and bus; or take a bus. In August in Kobarid, expect temperatures between 28°C during the day and 14°C at night. Cap off your sightseeing on the 12th (Sat) early enough to go by car back home.
