The most popular resort in Slovenia, Bled is marked by its iconic church steeple and medieval castle on glacial Lake Bled.
Bring the kids along to Triglav National Park and Bled Castle. Change things up with these side-trips from Bled: Bohinjsko Jezero (Vogel, Lake Bohinj, &more), Peričnik Falls (in Mojstrana) and Bovec (Zipline & Soča Valley). There's much more to do: trek along Vintgar Gorge, get great views at Mala Osojnica, admire the landmark architecture of Toll House, and step off the mainland to explore Bled Island.

Sitting astride the Ljubljanica River, Ljubljana is marked with picturesque bridges and a marketplace, designed by the famous architect Jože Plečnik.
You'll visit kid-friendly attractions like Ljubljana Old Town and Ljubljanica River. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Ljubljana: Škocjan Caves (in Škocjan), Piran (Benečanka Venetian House, Tartini Square, &more) and Predjama Castle (in Postojna). There's lots more to do: step into the grandiose world of Ljubljana Castle, snap pictures at Dragon Bridge, ponder the world of politics at Town Hall, and stop by Dobrote Dolenjske.
