The mirror-like waters of the largest glacial lake in Slovenia make Bohinjsko Jezero one of the most popular tourist attractions in the country.

Do some cultural sightseeing at Church of St John the Baptist and Outdoor Museum Kolovrat (muzej na prostem). Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Franja Partisan Hospital and Museum of Alpine Dairy Farming. Venture out of the city with trips to Mount Blegoš (in Škofja Loka), Soča (Source of the Soča River, Church of St. Joseph, &more) and Tolmin (Memorial Church of the Holy Spirit, Tolmin Castle, &more). On the 16th (Fri), dedicate a day to the elevated beauty of Mount Triglav.
