The most popular resort in Slovenia, Bled is marked by its iconic church steeple and medieval castle on glacial Lake Bled.
Venture out of the city with trips to Kranjska Gora (Vršič Pass & Lake Jasna), Bohinjsko Jezero (Church of St John the Baptist, Lake Bohinj, &more) and Three Country Border (in Rateče). There's lots more to do: fly like a bird with a parasailing or paragliding tour, stroll through Straza Bled, step into the grandiose world of Bled Castle, and get great views at Mala Osojnica.

Ljubljana to Bled is an approximately 1- hour car ride. You can also take a train; or take a bus. Expect a daytime high around 29°C in June, and nighttime lows around 14°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 14th (Sun) to allow enough time to drive to Kobarid.

At the very heart of picturesque Soca Valley, Kobarid delivers some of the most stunning views of Slovenia's highest peaks, as well as a chance to enjoy some exciting alpine rivers.
Go for a jaunt from Kobarid to Bovec to see Kayaking & Canoeing about 34 minutes away. There's still lots to do: admire the verdant scenery at Soča Valley, delve into the distant past at Kozlov Rob, indulge your thirst for a good beer at Thirsty River Brewing, and examine the collection at Kobarid Museum.

Traveling by car from Bled to Kobarid takes 2 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of train and bus; or take a bus. Expect a daytime high around 26°C in June, and nighttime lows around 13°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 17th (Wed) early enough to go by car back home.
