Start off your visit on the 17th (Tue): engage your brain at House of Experiments - Hisa eksperimentov, make a trip to Gornji Trg, glide peacefully along the water with some of the best stand-up paddleboarding in the area, then get a sense of history and politics at Town Hall, and finally appreciate the extensive heritage of Cankarjevo Nabrežje. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 18th (Wed): examine the collection at Technical Museum of Slovenia, identify plant and animal life at Rakov Škocjan Landscape Park, then explore the fascinating underground world of Cross Cave, and finally contemplate the waterfront views at Cerknica Lake.

Škofja Loka

Skofja Loka works great as a starting point for explorations into the Julian Alps, very near the country's capital Ljubljana.
On the 19th (Thu), hike along Mount Blegoš, then examine the collection at Hg Smeltery, and then brush up on your military savvy at Idrija War Museum. On the 20th (Fri), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: appreciate the history behind Marian and Holy Trinity Columns, snap pictures at The Devil's Bridge, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Church of the Annunciation of Mary, then take in the exciting artwork at Škrlovec Tower, then learn more about the world around you at Gorenjska Museum, and finally make a trip to Toll House.

The most popular resort in Slovenia, Bled is marked by its iconic church steeple and medieval castle on glacial Lake Bled.
You'll discover tucked-away gems like Peričnik Falls and Mostnica Gorge. Venture out of the city with trips to Source of the Soča River (in Soča), Kranjska Gora (Tromeja -Triple border, Zelenci Nature Reserve, &more) and Martuljek Waterfalls (in Gozd Martuljek). There's still lots to do: glide peacefully along the water with some of the best stand-up paddleboarding in the area, pause for some serene contemplation at Church of St John the Baptist, Head underground at Pokljuka Gorge, and get great views at Ojstrica.
